This past Sunday, the church in Port-au-Prince drove to Mirebalais for worship to encourage the church there at their inaugural service in their new building...
It's an hour and a half drive of beautiful, winding country roads through green hills and mountains.

Scouting out a location with the church leaders for an upcoming leaders retreat- imagine spending a weekend with this as your scenery! There were also fresh mangoes and plantains growing on the trees.
A swimming hole we stopped by on our way back to Port-au-Prince.
This day-trip made us even more anxious for a long trip to Cap-Hatitian, Haiti's second largest city located in the north, which we have heard is absolutely beautiful and a must-see... Is it bad I am already dreaming of vacation?! :)
